Siobhan Clune Named TSF Associate Executive Director

Siobhan Clune, TSF Director of Development since fall 2021, has been named The Security Foundation’s Associate Executive Director, effective immediately.

This new position and well-deserved promotion reflect Siobhan’s success in overseeing the organization’s fundraising. It’s also recognition that she is well suited to take on more of the day-to-day oversight of TSF operations while continuing to manage all TSF fundraising activities.

With this change, TSF’s Executive Director Peggy O’Neill can focus more fully with TSF’s Board of Directors on our new strategic objectives and building out our role as the convener of public- private partnerships. The timing of Siobhan’s promotion is critical. TSF staff and Board members will spend 2024 exploring and prioritizing the exciting opportunities ahead, while ensuring the right processes, procedures and checklists are in place for consistency, professionalism and transparency.

“With our rebranding and vision for creating new collaborations to deepen the impact of security public-private partnerships, it’s imperative that we have the right people to support our exciting plans,” says Peggy. “Siobhan’s oversight of TSF daily operations, along with her ongoing fundraising leadership, means that TSF and our many donors, public-sector partners and private-sector volunteers can have greater impact.”

“This is an exciting time for us as we have broadened our mission to support the security community worldwide,” Siobhan says. “I’m looking forward to my expanded role while continuing to work with TSF donors and nonprofit partners to support public-private partnerships and the overall safety and security of U.S. citizens and interests.”

Congratulations, Siobhan!
