Ambassador Nicholas Burns to Keynote TSF Annual Dinner.

The Security Foundation (TSF) is pleased to announce that Ambassador Nicholas Burns will serve as the keynote speaker at the upcoming TSF Annual Dinner.

Ambassador Burns brings more than three decades of experience in U.S. diplomacy and international affairs, having served six Presidents and nine Secretaries of State across both parties. Most recently, he served as U.S. Ambassador to China (2021–2025), where he led a multi-agency mission advancing U.S. interests across a broad range of security, economic, and diplomatic priorities.

Throughout his career, Ambassador Burns has played a key role in strengthening international partnerships and navigating complex global challenges, including his leadership as U.S. Ambassador to NATO and his service at the National Security Council on Russia/Ukraine Affairs for Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

His perspective reflects a deep commitment to public service and a longstanding focus on advancing collaboration across governments, institutions, and sectors.

The 15th Annual TSF Dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. The Dinner convenes leaders from government, the private sector, and the broader security community to foster dialogue, strengthen partnerships, and support shared approaches to global security challenges. We are honored to welcome Ambassador Burns in support of this mission and the important conversations it advances.
